Pink isn't a color that comes through here too often. As a birthday gift , the father of one my girl students gave her drums an overhaul. Black was the original color of this kit. He says she's practicing more now than she ever has before. Keep drumming , kiddo , and Happy Birthday!
Above is a TAMA kit owned by area drummer Chris Acernise. It used to be wine red , but as you can see we gave it some new color. Aside from the lime green finish we also cut the 12" tom down in depth from 9 inches to about 7 inches. Thanks for the pics , Chris!!
Here's our trusty Bryan prepping a vintage PEARL kit for refinish.
A TAMA kit that was once white is now gunmetal in color with a very small sized rainbow metal flake.
This is an early 60's Japanese kit that was brought to me for some TLC. It had a red wrap on it that was very deteriorated. We did it in a silver base with a chrome metal flake finish. However , it is so light reflective that I had to use a light filter on the camera to tone down the glare , so the quality of the pics isn't what I had hoped.
