I started Monkey Music Inc. with one goal in mind ... to help my fellow musicians , especially drummers , to get the supplies they want and need . Sure , it's easy to order from a catalog or online . But can a computer answer any questions you might have about a product ? One of my biggest complaints was trying to get specific product information from a salesperson who was there for no other reason but to make a sale and knew nothing of the products being sold , nor could make a recommendation for a comparable alternative. ALAS ... Monkey Music , Inc. !
Growing up in the family business of an auto body paint shop I learned a thing or two about how to apply a beautiful finish. Although it was my job , automobile repair just wasn't in my heart. So , in July of 2002 , after 20 plus years of painting , I decided to put my knowledge of custom refinishing together with my love of drums and started Monkey Music , Inc. No longer am I painting cars and motorcycles , but instead helping drummers and guitarists to have their instruments look as individual as they are. Along with refinishing we also offer services such as drum alterations including depth shallowing , and repairs including re-cutting bearing edges. " THANK YOU " to all whom have given me the opportunity to make MONKEY MUSIC happen !
